meet Your Endwar 2026 Moderator Team
Moderators are what we call the friendly folks who run Endwar. These individuals work tirelessly to plan all portions of the event as well as ensure the weekend goes smoothly. Did we mention this is an all volunteer group? Everyone here has donated their time, talents, and resources to make Endwar a reality year after year. Get to know them a little more below!

Drac
FOUNDER
Drac has been in the hobby for over a decade, and continues to bring Nerf to new heights. After helping found Endwar in 2017, he established Aethernaut Inc which is his very own company based in Florida.

Patrick
DRAC’S RIGHT HAND
Pat has worked with Drac for years helping him run his company and expand its business. Pat ran Endwar 2019 in Georgia and has helped in every iteration since its founding

Grace works with Drac down in Florida and has helped with Endwars previously.

Elle Burgess
Director of Media
COG OLD GUARD: discord manager
Elle is a registered Civil Engineer and a graduate from UNC Charlotte. They heard stories in highschool about NvZ and couldn't wait to try it when coming to school. Elle moderated for COG for 2 years(2018-2019) and has assisted and advised since then. Elle has been called the “Bear Mod”, for some night missions she can been seen hiding and skulking campus’s thick brush while donning a bear cloak.

Emily Werme

Director of Creative, Aethernaut/Campus Liaison
Werme has been a part of HvZ since 2014, but didn’t join the Nerf community at large until Endwar 2018 when they went as a participant. Now they moderate at UNCC and help bring Endwar to their campus each year.

COG OLD GUARD: former president
Elson has been playing HvZ since it was introduced to UNCC in 2010 and moderating since 2012. Personal mantras are “Accuracy by volume” and “Don't make me make a rule about it”

Jeff
COG OLD GUARD: former vice president
Jeff is a registered Wildlife Biologist and Environmental Scientist with the TSA. Jeff has been playing HvZ since 2015 while attending UNC Charlotte and began moderating that same year. Generally referred to as the “Dad Mod”, Jeff enjoys helping promote a healthy, fun, and unexpected experience.

Zachariah Montero
Lore Head
Zach graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson in 2017 and now kicks it in Nashville, working in healthcare. He’s been hooked on Humans vs. Zombies since college and jumps in as a moderator whenever he can. When he’s not working, he’s all about the strategy, community, and chaos that HvZ brings. He also loves getting outside and volunteering at his local art museum.

Michael LaPera
Coming from the depths of New Jersey, Michael is a full-time YouTuber and Big Bad Bow enthusiast. After getting into HvZ in 2023, he became determined to create memorable experiences, whether it's reaching last stands with silly blasters or wiping out groups of humans with pool noodles! Now, as a new moderator, he's excited for the fresh experiences coming his way

Unicorn Guy
When he is not fulfilling his role as the mascot of the Unicorn Division, Unicorn Guy moonlights as a State Park Ranger named Ray from South Florida with two labradors and a love of the outdoors, lifting heavy things, international travel and Psyduck. While the identity of UG was born from Endwar 2019, HVZ has been part of life since 2010 at Dartmouth College. This will be his first time as an official mod for the game.

Justin Greenside
Hailing from Virginia, Justin is an aspiring cinematographer and avid nerfer. After entering the hobby in late 2023, He instantly became hooked. Being awarded the title of “Fastest Nerfer” by the members of Nerf Games at William and Mary, Justin aims to create fun and exciting experiences for others, hoping to give people the same experience he was hooked in by. Whether its casual, competitive, HvZ or PvP, Justin is bound to be interested and ready to rep VA with a smile.
